Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Qatar Q1 2025: Performance Insights

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Qatar showed varied performance metrics across downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent download rate, beginning the quarter with around 5.3K downloads and peaking at 6.3K by the end of March. The app's active user base showed a slight increase, starting at approximately 211K and reaching 243K by the quarter's end.

Google Maps Go experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 3.6K and reaching a high of 4.5K in late March. Active users saw a steady growth, beginning at 698K and peaking at over 821K.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass saw a notable spike in downloads mid-quarter, with numbers rising from 950 to 2.7K. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 2.9K and increasing to 4.6K.
